Confirm! Fullmetal Alchemist Live-Action Will Released On December 1st!

Since launching its first teaser in December of last year, many fans are more curious about the comic adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa Fullmetal Alchemist works to the big screen version. And after waiting long enough, eventually all the questions answered already coincide with the release of the latest trailer.

Fullmetal Alchemist movie directed by Fumihiko Sori and starring Ryosuke Yamada, Honda and Dean Fujioka Tsubasa, will be released on December 1st 2017. And if you see from the trailer that was released to the public, it seems Fumihiko has fulfilled his promise to make a film adaptation that meet the expectations of fans, especially in accordance with the groove on the comic.

Given the interwoven stories Fullmetal Alchemist long, this film will likely only tells the story of Edward and Alphonse Elric beginning when you first perform the ritual forbidden adventure in the search for the legendary Philosopher’s Stone to restore their body to its original state.

In the initial chapter Fullmetal Alchemist, narrated if Eward sister plan to revive their mother using a forbidden ritual. However, the ritual failed. So instead managed to revive their mother, Edward must have lost his hands and feet, while her brother, AI, lost all his body and soul had to be deposited in an armor.

In the film version, the character Al will be entirely computer generated. Fumihiko also states if he used a lot of CG techniques that are never used in Japanese movies before. He personally very much hope to raise the level of the Japanese CG with this film.

CG quality of its own, if seen from the trailers, has been very good. Typical films AAA grade. And if you see the settings at a glance, for some reason I remembered the feel of Harry Potter-style magic fairy tale. In addition to serious work on the CG, Fumihiko also really serious when working on setting and place for this film. Most place anyway possible CG as well. But who cares lah! This movie really cool coy! So ya wanta not wait to watch!
